Can I take a cup or trophy home after the show?

The RDS no longer permits Equestrian Exhibitors to take home the cups & trophies won at the Dublin Horse Show.  

All exhibitors (winning owners, or riders, where applicable) who are awarded a cup or trophy at the RDS Dublin Horse Show will have their details engraved on the trophy.  Winning exhibitors have the opportunity to be photographed with the cup or trophy at the prize giving ceremony at the Show, and will be able to see the engraving details on it at the following year’s Show. 

The RDS Dublin Horse Show cups and trophies are held in storage with the Society’s Silversmiths, Weir & Sons Ltd. on Grafton Street, Dublin 2.  Weirs are currently in the process of inscribing the details of this year’s winners on the cups and trophies.
