Entertainment & Family Zone

Every year the Show provides an excellent entertainment programme for all visitors to the Show.

The 2025 RDS Dublin Horse Show will host a wealth of entertainment throughout the 5 days, with face painting, a petting zoo and circus-like acts on hand to entertain and captivate audiences on The Church Grounds.

The Family Area at this year’s RDS 2025 Dublin Horse Show (6th – 10th August) is back to provide engaging entertainment for children of all ages while offering memorable experiences for the whole family.

Located in the Church grounds behind the Grandstand, the Family Area is set to be the heart of children's activities, offering a diverse array of thrilling adventures and creative fun.

This year, some of the highlights include:

Thrilling Adventures:

• Test your bravery with our climbing wall.
• Meet beasts at Nore Valley Park mobile farm.
• Find your will to thrill at the Mini Defender Driving Experience.

Creative Fun: 

• Face painters. 
• Balloon artists.
• Roaming circus acts. 

Educational & Inspirational Engagements: 

• Combining fun and learning, The Family Area will highlight our Positive Strides initiative, showcasing the transformative benefits of equine therapy and the impact it has on society in general. Festina Lente, our partner, will be there to demonstrate their impactful work. 
• This year's Family Area will feature it's very own 'Pop-Up Gaeltacht', showcasing the rich heritage of the Irish language and promising to be a unique and immersive experience.

When it's time to rest and refuel, visitors will find a range of tasty food options available from ice creams to burgers – something to satisfy everyone in the family.
